Get recognition for your best work

Being recognised in the Master Builder Awards gives you something valuable to share with prospective customers, existing clients, suppliers and others you work with.

As an award winner, you’ll receive an official Master Builder Awards winner logo to use on your website, along with social media and marketing materials to display on your FMB online profile. Homeowners using our Find a Builder service can also search for award-winning members.

It gives you a recognised achievement that can help your business to stand out when you're competing for work and gives prospective clients another reason to feel confident about choosing your business.

Craig Holmes
In 2019 we won North West Medium Renovation in the FMB awards. Winning the FMB awards raised our profile and we were able to win a lot more work due to the fact that we’d won it and we could showcase the work that we’d done on social media as well.”

Craig Holmes, Lathom Joinery & Construction Ltd

Celebrate your team and your achievements

Running a building business doesn't always leave much time to stop and look back at what you've achieved.

Entering the Awards is an opportunity to celebrate the work that went into a successful project, recognise the people behind your business and give your team something to be proud of.

Alex Strikovs, Director of Home Republic Ltd and a multiple award winner, describes Awards success as a morale boost for his employees. He also sees it as valuable marketing material, reassurance for prospective customers and something existing clients can take pride in too.

Mark Williams
The competition is strong, but let others know about a project you’re proud of. There’s nothing to lose and a lot to gain,”

Mark Williams, R & M Williams Ltd, 2025 Master Builder of the year

More chances to be recognised in 2027

With over 100 awards across the Regional and Home Nation Awards and the National Final, there are plenty of opportunities to put your business in the spotlight.

For 2027, we're also introducing Regional and Home Nation shortlists, meaning even businesses can receive recognition for their achievements.

Shortlisted companies will receive marketing materials to help them promote their achievement, while Regional and Home Nation winners receive a trophy and official winner logo to use. Entries may also feature across FMB marketing, publications, social media and future Awards promotions.

Laura Marshal
Every year I hear from members who nearly didn't enter because they thought they wouldn't stand a chance. Many of those businesses went on to become national winners. Put yourself forward and let the judges decide.”

Laura Marshal, Head of Commercial & Events, FMB

You could win more than recognition

The National Young Builder Award winner will receive £500, while the overall Master Builder of the Year will win a FOTON Tunland V9 pick-up worth more than £42,000.

Think you've got something worth celebrating?

If you're proud of what your business, your team or one of your apprentices has achieved, put it forward. With categories covering projects, people and businesses, there are plenty of opportunities to be recognised.

The judges can only consider the entries they receive, so give them the chance to consider yours.
