Based in South West Wales, Cyfle Building Skills runs the largest and most successful shared apprenticeship scheme of its kind in the UK with over 1,000 apprentices having completed the programme to date. Whether you're considering taking on an apprentice this September or in the future, Cyfle offers a flexible, low-risk solution for businesses like yours.

How it works

Cyfle acts as the direct employer, taking care of HR, payroll, and training coordination, removing the administrative burden and employment risk from your business. You simply host the apprentice onsite.

Thanks to Cyfle’s unique charitable funding model, hosting an apprentice through the scheme is typically around one-third cheaper than hiring directly. You only pay for the days the apprentice is working with you.

Additional support includes:

  • Coordination with local colleges
  • On-site mentoring
  • Ongoing performance monitoring

They currently have a pool of local apprentices available for immediate placement in the building industry. They’re ready to gain valuable experience. Could your site be the next step on their journey?
